The small town of Bibi-Heybat attracted the attention of Hollywood filmmakers, where part of the James Bond film "The World is Not Enough" (1999) was shot. The film "That Sweet Word: Liberty!" (USSR, 1972) was shot in Sumgait, creating a Latin American atmosphere.
